New Lexus RX SUV to debut soon
The new Lexus RX SUV has been teased ahead of a reveal at the upcoming New York motor show. It goes on sale internationally, at the end of this year.
Nothing much of the car has been revealed, but it is expected to adopt similar sharp lines as Lexus’ own smaller NX SUV. The car seems to ditch conventional SUV-esque shape for a more coupe like roofline. The tail-lamps look like they’ve been borrowed from the GS sedan, and the rear fenders too are quite bulbous.
The Lexus RX is also likely to feature the large trapezoidal grille that has become a feature on recent Lexus models.
Although powertrain details aren’t out yet, the RX is expected, in global markets, with a V6 engine in both regular petrol and hybrid guise.
