2015 Ford Shelby Mustang GT350R unleashed
Ford has pulled the veils off its new 2015 Ford Shelby Mustang GT350R at the Detroit Auto Show. The company states that it is 'the most track-capable production Mustang ever built.
The new car features a carbon fiber body kit that includes a front splitter, side skirts and a rear diffuser. The 2015 Mustang GT350R receives a revised grille, body stripes and a special badging and rides on 20-inch alloy wheels with Michelin tyre.
Inside, the 2016 Ford Shelby Mustang GT350R receives embroidered headrests, carbon fiber trim and a dash plaque. Other notable highlights include ‘Shelby GT’ door sill plates and Shelby branded floor mats.
A 5.0-liter V8 engine equipped with a sports exhaust system and a Ford Racing supercharger runs under the hood of the 2016 Shelby Mustang GT350R to deliver a whopping 627 PS of power. Customers can also order a performance package which increases the output to more than 700 PS.
